This course offers in-depth preparation for the English, Reading, and Science sections of the ACT. Students will learn how to manage time effectively, break down question types, and approach passages strategically. Through guided instruction, drills, and review of real ACT-style passages, students will build the confidence and skills necessary to succeed in these three core areas.
ACT English
Students will strengthen their command of grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and rhetorical skills. Instruction focuses on recognizing and correcting errors, understanding writing style and tone, and revising for clarity and purpose. Key topics include:
- Subject-verb agreement & verb tense
- Modifier placement
- Punctuation (commas, colons, dashes)
- Transitions and logical flow
- Conciseness and relevance
ACT Reading
Students will sharpen their reading comprehension, inference, and textual analysis skills by working with four types of passages: literary narrative, social science, humanities, and natural science. Emphasis is placed on:
- Skimming techniques and time-saving strategies
- Identifying main ideas and author’s tone
- Understanding evidence-based questions
- Comparing viewpoints in paired passages
ACT Science
Rather than requiring prior science knowledge, this section tests students’ ability to interpret data, analyze experiments, and apply scientific reasoning. Students will practice:
- Reading graphs, tables, and diagrams
- Understanding experimental design and variables
- Drawing conclusions from data sets
- Evaluating conflicting viewpoints and hypotheses
Ideal for: Rising 10th–12th graders aiming to strengthen their verbal and science reasoning skills before the ACT.

- 修饰语位置
- 标点使用（逗号、冒号、破折号等）
- 过渡词与逻辑连贯性
- 表达简洁与内容相关性
ACT 阅读
训练学生快速理解不同类型的阅读材料，包括文学叙述、社会科学、人文学科和自然科学。重点包括：
- 快速浏览与时间管理技巧
- 主旨、作者语气与立场识别
- 基于文本证据的题目理解
- 比较双篇文章中的观点差异
ACT 科学
本部分不考察专业科学知识，而是侧重数据分析与实验推理能力。学生将练习：
- 阅读图表、数据表与实验设计
- 理解实验变量与因果关系
- 从数据中归纳结论
- 分析并比较不同的科学观点与假设
适合对象： 升10至12年级学生，适合希望在ACT语言与科学推理方面全面提升的学生。
